Representing the 6th district within Indiana, Congressman Pence is considered to be a GOP popular candidate for the governorship. Pence won’t assert his candidacy as a result of state guidelines that do not allow political figures to acquire campaign money prior to the legislative session ending later this month. Even so, many people are aware that he’ll be making a run when the financial constraints are gone.

State Attorney General Rob McKenna is predicted to soon be making an announcement to run for governor of Washington in the upcoming 2012 election. Many people in the state favor him to become the next governor, even amongst left-leaners in the most liberal counties. In the election of 2008 when he was chosen for a second term as Attorney General. Mr. McKenna earned 59 percent of the votes. And in the heavily-democratic region of King County McKenna received a striking 53 percent which is astounding for a candidate that aligns himself with the republican party.

Gov Patrick has sent his budget proposal to the Massachusetts House and Senate. They will work on constructing their own version of the budget proposal and then send it back over. The 2011 fiscal budget proposal is for 28.2 billion. The new fiscal year starts on July, 1.
