With most of the world’s most breathtaking beaches, lush valleys, coral reefs, snow capped mountains, rain forests and remote canyons all in one location, it is hardly surprising that Hawaii is among the leading tourist destinations in the world. According to a recent report from ABC News, Hawaii Tourism Authority stats for January-April 2011 indicate a 17.8% increase in visitor spending compared to the spending same time in 2010. Despite the increases in fuel prices, natural disasters as well as other factors, the tourism economy of all the Hawaiian Islands has been recovering considerably.
